Cancellation and Booking Policy

 

By booking with Kelly Louise Makeup Artistry you are aknowledging and agreeing to this policy in full

 

Booking Requirements:

• To secure your appointment, a non-refundable booking fee is required:

  • 20% for group bookings

  • 30% for single bookings

• Early morning fees of $50 per hour will apply to start times of 6:30 AM or earlier.

• Travel fees will be charged at $1 per km (on the day of the event) after 10 km from my Dakabin studio, plus tolls. Travel fees will be charged per artist/person per booking. For example, if you have 2 stylists (1 for hair and 1 for makeup), there will be 2 separate travel fees to the chosen location.

• If getting ready at a hotel or in the CBD, please ensure that parking is readily available at the location. Parking fees will apply, are payable upon arrival, and will be added to the booking.

• Booking dates for public holidays or their associated weekends (including the Queen’s Birthday, Boxing Day, Australia Day, and New Year’s Day) will incur a 20% surcharge on the total booking.

 

Bridal/Group Bookings:

• To secure your booking date for a wedding or event, a non-refundable booking fee is required. Your booking is not confirmed until this booking fee is received. You can secure your booking by making a direct deposit, or booking online via Fresha.

• Once your booking is confirmed and the booking fee is paid, any cancellations or changes to the size of your bridal party or group booking will incur additional charges. If the booking is downsized or cancelled after confirmation, you will be charged the original quoted price to cover the loss of other bridal parties and clients turned away for the same date.

• If you cancel your bridal booking after the deposit has been made, Kelly Louise Makeup Artistry will retain the total booking fee or full amount paid as liquidated damages, due to the loss of business from other parties turned away for that date.

 

Appointment Changes:

• We strive to accommodate your needs; however, we may not always be able to adjust your appointment time. If a suitable alternative cannot be mutually found, this will be considered a late cancellation.

• Changes to Makeup or Hair Selection (ie: basic curls changed to upstyle, or hair length or thickness) may result in result in additional fees

 

Late Arrivals:

• If you find yourself running late, we kindly ask that you call us to inform us and discuss options.

• Please be aware that your appointment may need to be shortened. In some cases, the appointment may not be able to proceed, which will be regarded as a late cancellation, resulting in the forfeiture of your appointment booking fee.

 

Cancellations:

• For cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance, the booking fee will be forfeited but may be transferred to another date at the time of cancellation.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your booking will require full payment.

• Refunds will not be given and are solely at the discretion of Kelly Louise Makeup Artistry.

• Failure to pay may result in legal action for recovery
